Our Nurse Practitioners

Sabrina Dorris has been a board certified family nurse practitioner since 2001 and a registered nurse since 1994. She has years of experience as a RN in obstetrics, labor & delivery, nursery, ER, and ICU nursing care. 

In 2001, she advanced her training and graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio with her Master's Degree in Family Nurse Practitoner. In 2002, she moved to the McKinney/Allen area and began her long career as a nurse practitioner in pediatric health care. She has been practicing solely in pediatrics ever since and absolutely LOVES her babies and families. 

Sabrina and her husband, Steve, have 2 grown children. Their son, Kade, has just moved home from living in Portland, Oregon. Kade is self taught in music, guitar, and singing. He is a talented singer/songwriter on the side. Their daughter, BriAnn and her husband, Mac, live in DC with Sabrina's favorite little man, Hayes. Baby Hayes turned 1 year old on March 2, 2024 and is the first grandchild for Sabrina and Steve. BriAnn is an alumni of Baylor University with a Master's degree in Social Work. 

Steve and Sabrina enjoy camping in their Fifth Wheel, hanging on their patio with good friends, traveling, and most of all, time with their 4 fur babies. Yes, 4!! They have 2 medium sized goldendoodles and 2 small pomeranians that bring them so much joy!!
