Are You Having a Baby?

Congratulations on Your Anticipated Newborn. We are so happy for you!

Whether you are just starting a family, or adding to your family, this is a time of excitement and joy. Through all the excitement and anticipation of pregnancy, delivery, and then arriving home with a newborn, it is likely you may have questions or concerns about how to care for your baby and family.

We deem it an honor that you are considering us for your child’s care. We are elated when we are invited by new parents to assist in the care of their baby. The care of a human being over a 21 year life span is a glorious blessing to us. Watching in wonderment as a little baby grows and develops into an amazing child, teen, then young adult, is one of the primary reasons that we all feel privileged to work in pediatrics.

At Southern Charm Pediatrics, we are blessed to have many second-generation families. We are now taking care of our previous patients' babies. Now that is a blessing!!

We are here for you and your family.

What To Bring with You
  • Any paperwork from the hospital, including hearing screen results and immunization records.
  • Any available insurance information (often only the parent’s insurance is available at the first visit).
  • Blanket, diapers, and an extra set of clothes.
  • Completed new patient forms prior to the visit will help make the first visit easier on you, as well as us.

Before Your First Office Visit

Any time before delivery, call the office to let us know you are expecting. You are welcome to make a visit to meet and discuss any special concerns before the baby is born.

We recommend that you download and fill out our paperwork ahead of time.

When the joyful day has arrived, you can tell the hospital staff that you have chosen us as your pediatric healthcare provider.
